Don't do it. These aren't even made by skateboarders, they're a rollerblade company.
Pros:
fast in straight line
thats about it
Cons:
1. Rediculously high center of gravity, you're sitting over 4 inches off the road which greatly reduces stability at speed and makes pushing a BIG chore
2. Tiny wheel contact with ground means heavy stresses on the wheels while turning and alot less grip on tight carves. this is especially a problem because the combination of small road contact and high center of gravity means either you have very unpredictable slides or the board rolls over.
3. Ugliest thing i've ever seen
4. Made by non-skate company, support skateboarders if your gonna skate!

end of story, do not get these. TSL on the longboard store sells a pretty legit beginner longboard for cheap.

Also a word to the wise - avoid anything by krown and don't get torsion trucks, they're a bad gimmick product.

so i'm in the market for a longboard, and i'm wondering if this new style is worth trying out for my first longboard...
i've ridden a sector 9 and an arbor, both were decent... but the roads around my campus are complete sh*t, so the bigger wheels might be a better option... plus they are still new, so the promotional offers make 'em cheaper than most sector 9 boards...
anyone have any input on this?
thanks ahead of time
