New Kahuna Longboard Skateboards
Kahuna Creations plans to debuts a new, creative label of longboard skateboards at Surf Expo, September 16-18, 2005 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The company will introduce its new line, which includes a “high end” line of solid wood longboards constructed of solid Maple, Mahogany and Tananoa wood stringers with shapes that try to recapture the feel of “old-school surfing culture”. In addition, the “Fun Board Fish” line will be announced, which reflects a “retro fish surf influence in a line of 6 longboard shapes that feature strong, bold colors” and is priced for the “mid-range market”.
Kahuna Longboards are … a real attention-getter to our customers. Nancy Warfe, Marketing Director at Aqua East Surf Shop in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Nancy went on to talk about how Kahuna strives to use “the highest quality woods” and that their trucks and wheels aim to “provide users with the safest ride and virtually eliminate speed wobble.
Further, Kahuna Creations says it is committed to the retail channel. An ‘authorized retailer’ program will be made available at Surf Expo to qualified retailers, and is geared towards “providing top margins and limited channel distribution designed to foster long term loyalty and solid sales results.”
Kahuna Creations LLC, based in Ogden, Utah seeks to provide the market with a new approach to quality and creativity products for both the custom and surf/snow sports market. Their mission is to “create a label that is known for skateboard creativity, quality, appeal and innovation to our customers.”
