Today I received a little parcel from the Venturi guys in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The parcel contained a note and a nicely packaged mini DVD introducing all Venturi products but more importantly their freakishly high tech and sleek Black Feather Longboard. Wow have they got some presentation talent over there. Venturi are known to design high-end sports cars or bicycles, I’m not exactly sure what got them into producing a longboard.

So here is the run down on the sexy Venturi Black Feather:

Limited to only 200 boards make the Venturi Black Feather a very collectible and rare item. Weight of the board is 2.9 kilograms , hence the name “Black Feather”. Dimensions : L : 1060 mm / w : 205 mm / h : 64 mm. This longboard offers a smooth, fast and quet ride. The low standing platform means the board travels faster as you use less energy to skate along. A rider would stand 64mm above the ground ( less the half the height of your average longboard) and therefore needs half the energy used while pushing. The surface of the wheels consist of some kind of wear-resistant PU with the highest available rebound ( you will go faster as there is less rolling friction). This longboard can be yours for 450 Euro / $660 USD.
